A TRIBUTE TO LEE MORGAN AND HORACE SILVER, TRUMPET AND PIANO GIANTS APRIL 19

The powerful trumpet sounds of Lee Morgan were his calling card; the percussive and dance-inspiring piano style of Horace Silver an effective lure. Woodmere brings their music to life with pianist, Junius Bervine and the Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble with renditions of “Song For My Father” and “The Sidewinder” defining hard bop as a stepping stone to the growth of jazz.
